Berkshire AHEC funds Berkshire Medical Center as a site for third-year clerkships for the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the core clerkships - medicine, surgery and obstetrics/gynecology - as well as offering experiences in psychiatry, family practice and pediatrics.

Medical students who schedule clerkships, sub-internships or electives at Berkshire Medical Center are provided with free room and board.

College Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)

Program Dates: Sunday, June 1 - Friday, June 26, 2009
Application Submission Begins: November 15, 2008
Deadline to Apply: March 15, 2009

The College Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) is a tuition-free four-week residential program for undergraduate sophomores and juniors interested in entering the health professions. The goals of the program are to help participants improve their qualifications and competitive standing for admission to professional, graduate and/or
medical school.
