Interpreting for Prenatal Genetics

May 2 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

MAY 2, 2020 8:30AM – 2:30PM

Location: Live Streaming via Zoom Meeting

Link: Will be provided upon registration
Please download Zoom 48 hours prior to this training

Genetic counseling adds the extra challenge of being a highly technical, rapid advancing and little understood area of medicine. It can be confusing not only for Limited English Proficient patients but also for the general public and even many healthcare providers. One cannot interpret well what one does not understand, and without effective interpreting, LEP patients cannot take full advantage of advances in genetic medicine.
