Certified Sexuality Educator, Jane Fleishman Returns!
Dynamic, funny and very knowledgeable with over 20 years teaching about sexuality.
Jane Fleishman, M.S., M.Ed., is a certified sexuality educator and consultant who has spent over 20 years teaching and learning about sexuality, mostly from her audiences.  She recently earned her M.Ed. in Human Sexuality from the Center for Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University.  She loves teaching and has facilitated numerous pre-conference seminars and workshops all over the country in conferences for professionals and scholars, community centers for queer youth, continuing care communities for aging adults, in local schools for parents, and in faith communities for congregants.   She is on the Leadership Team for the Sexuality and Aging Consortium and is particularly interested in facilitating sexuality education for aging adults and those who care for them.  She is currently doing research on the sexual satisfaction of aging adults in same-sex relationships for her Ph.D in human sexuality at Widener University.  She is a fighter for justice and believes there is no issue more central to human rights than sexual rights.

Program Goal: This workshop is designed to improve participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes about an aging lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, asexual, intersex, and other sexual minorities (LGBTQAI+) population; the diversity of sexual backgrounds, experiences and expectations among aging populations; and the implications of intimacy and sexuality on aging in congregate care.

Target Audience: This workshop is designed for healthcare professionals of all levels working with elderly populations.

This is a 3-hourworkshop with a strong participatory component.  All workshop participants will receive materials and resources to help guide them in their work with an aging LGBTQAI+ population.
