Mindfulness: Responding Effectively to Pain, Stress and Illness

Ben Karlin has been practicing mindfulness and meditation for over a decade and a half, and has traveled around the world studying how different cultures and traditions approach these ancient practices. He began teaching at a health clinic in northern Thailand, helping patients take a more active role in maintaining their health through a deeper understanding of the mind and body. Since then, Ben has worked with individuals, businesses, and organizations world-wide, founding Free Form Minds to empower people with an awareness of the inner resources available to them. He currently teaches in the Boston area and remotely with participants around the country, and is a qualified MBSR instructor trained at the UMASS Medical School Center for Mindfulness.
