Description: The talk provides discussion of geriatric issues including differences in clinical diagnoses, possible structures of the interview, and possible locations of the encounter.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
•Identify geriatric problems like dementia, incontinence, and falls.
•Interpret standardized cognitive and functional assessments.
•Analyze situations which includes family members with potential role confusion.
•Demonstrate increasing need for professional interpreters in sites like nursing homes.
